Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience to take a private lesson?

No experience needed! Private lessons are a great way to get started if you’re new to aerial or circus arts. Many beginners use them as a stepping stone before joining a Beginner Aerial class.

Can kids take private lessons?

Yes! We offer private lessons for students of all ages. If you’re looking for weekly small-group training for kids, check out our Pre-teen and Teen aerial programs.

What skills can I work on in a private lesson?

You can focus on any of the apparatus we offer—like silks, lyra, trapeze, rope, sling, and even flying pole—as well as contortion, flexibility, and handstands. Just let your coach know what you’d like to focus on.

How do I know if I’m ready to move into group classes?

If you’ve been taking private lessons and want to join a leveled group class, we may recommend a quick placement evaluation to determine the best fit. Your coach can help guide that decision.

Can I book a private for a small group?

Yes! We offer semi-private lessons for 2–3 people. If you’re planning an activity for 4 or more participants, we recommend booking a Private Party.
