What You’ll Learn in Lyra Classes

Whether you’re working below the bar or spinning through the air, our lyra program includes three progressive levels—each designed to build confidence, skills, and artistry.

Lyra 1 – Foundations in the Hoop

Lyra, also called aerial hoop, is a fan favorite for those who love to make pretty shapes and spin. In this class, you’ll learn foundational skills on and below the bar, including mounts, tricks, and an introduction to spinning. You’ll start discovering your center of gravity as you explore movement through basic shapes and sequences.

Lyra 2 – Skills, Strength & Style

Building on Lyra 1, this intermediate class focuses on strength, flow, and skill development all around the hoop. You’ll learn more challenging moves and begin connecting them into combinations. Students are encouraged to be creative and start finding their unique aerial voice.

Lyra 3 – Movement as Expression

Now that you have a strong foundation, this level is about artistry and depth. You’ll refine technique while exploring creative transitions and movement beyond tricks. Students are challenged to find their own style and bring intentionality to every sequence—developing as both athletes and performers.
