You’ll build strength, endurance, and confidence gradually, with safe progressions and plenty of support from our coaches. Most students start with no background in aerial or gymnastics.
Wear leggings or fitted athletic pants that cover the backs of your knees, plus a form-fitting top that won’t ride up when you’re upside down. Avoid zippers, buttons, or jewelry that could snag the fabric. Bare feet are best for climbing and wrapping silks.
Aerial silks focus on strength, climbing, wraps, and sequences—similar to what you see in performances. Aerial yoga uses a fabric hammock closer to the ground for stretching, inversions, and relaxation. At our studio, aerial silks are taught as a circus art, with emphasis on skill-building and performance.
